I think the idea with the trees cradling her in a kinda morbid and creepy manor makes the image more depressing. It's like "Oh its her wedding night XD but then its like she is dreading the moment instead of being wisked away by it. I don't know if that is what you were going for , but if it was its a neat take one it.

hahaha yeah, that was actually what I was going for XD but I was way too lazy to pull it off properly. I either wanted her like that in the forest, or in some run-down old dusty room, next to an open chest with photos all around her or something.

cool! for digital art this almost looks traditional, it's really neat - is she supposed to be in a forest? something more to hint at that would be neat, if she is, but in general a little more background detail, or melding of the two images could work :3

yeah, I just scribbled in a background so I could get out a "finished" print so some people could see it since it had been in progress for a while. I think I'm just going to redo the background entirely though later when I have more time.
