I started vet school this fall and wow! things have been busy. I've been so caught up in studying and school work that I've closed all commissions until at least the summer. Unfortunately, I haven't even had time for my own doodling or costume making, and being in school without work or commissions has put a damper on my cosplay fund. So, I want to announce that I will be on hiatus with both cosplay and artwork until I settle in and become a bit more organized with school and life (which may not happen until graduation )
I'm hoping that although I won't be making new costumes or artwork I can continue to attend conventions, so anyone who I regularly see at Anime Boston or Connecticon I hope to keep in touch with! My group is thinking of focusing on running some panels, or doing gameshows and exhibition skits in the meanwhile instead of making new costumes to compete with (which should be a fun and less stressful change of pace!).

If anyone has any tips for keeping cosplay cheap or ideas of costumes that would be easy enough to work on for the guys (they're all about prop making instead of sewing) then please pass them on!

Thanks for all the comments, favs and support both on dA and at conventions!  While I'll have fewer posts of my own I'll try to stay somewhat active on here- I still love going through deviations and watching you guys grow as artists.
